Social security

Social security is one of the district’s most important tasks and includes supra-local social welfare, inclusion of people with disabilities, help for homeless and addicted people. The district enables the implementation of curative treatments (help for health and preventive health care) and subsidises associations of the voluntary welfare such as Caritas, Diakonie or Arbeiterwohlfahrt.
